What is IV Hydration?
IV Hydration is a low-risk procedure of administering vitamins and nutrients directly into the bloodstream. This is effective because the procedure bypasses the GI tract, delivering vitamins and nutrients with a 100% absorption rate. Administered by a registered nurse or paramedic, the effects may be felt immediately and can be felt up to one week after.
How long does it take?
While the IV Hydration service itself typically takes only 25-35 minutes depending on your unique needs and type of IV vitamin solution. If it is your first visit, plan an additional 15 mins for the intake process and consultation time.
How much does it cost?
Our IV Hydration services cost between $95 and $145 depending on the mix of ingredients and membership status. Our B12 and MIC injections range from $20 to $50. Additional services are available.
Do you offer discounted group rates?
Absolutely! We offer member pricing to groups of 6 or more, typically for mobile or in-lounge events.
Can I book your Airstream for my event?
How quickly will I feel the effects?
Depends! Each individual is different and services rendered can vary. Effects are usually felt within an hour while others can take several hours or even a full day.
Do you take insurance?
Unfortunately we don’t; however, clients have been able to use their HSA cards and Mediflex plans to cover the services we offer.
Who will administer my IV?
One of our licensed clinical staff will administer your IV during your hydration service! At Elite Hydration we hire highly trained and skilled registered nurses and paramedics to educate and help you choose the service that is right for you. Each of our staff members has no less than 5 years of experience and will spend the necessary time with each client to make each visit unique to you.
Does getting an IV hurt?
Typically not at all, but everyone has their threshold, and we do our best to make each experience as comfortable as possible. Ask about our PainEase Spray!
Can I receive an IV if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?
We do not offer services if you are pregnant and we limit our IV hydration services to saline-only if you are breastfeeding.
Are there any risks?
Yes, but here at Elite Hydration we take every precaution to deliver the safest care to each client. It’s also important to note that we collect a waiver, medical history, as well as a set of vital signs from each client prior to delivering services.
Our medical professionals are well-versed in identifying and managing side effects in the rare case that it should happen.
Risks of IV services include but are not limited to:
- Bruising at site of Injection
- Lightheadedness or Fainting
- Unsuccessful IV attempt
Risks of injectables include but not limited to:
- Mild diarrhea, upset stomach, nausea, a feeling of irritation/warmth at the site of the injection.
How often can I do this?
Weekly! This is dependent on lifestyle and the individual’s goals. It is safe to receive services on a weekly bases but a majority of our clients are on a monthly routine. We have membership options available for all lifestyles!
Can anyone get an IV or booster? Children?
Most of those seeking our services are typically healthy, active individuals who are seeking the unique and effective services we offer. Our services range from cold/flu prevention, to increased energy levels, and even help in athletic peroration and recovery.
Children can get IV therapy, however we do not treat minors (under 18 years of age) without consulting our Medical Director.
Can I use IV Hydration to prevent hangovers or sickness?
Of Course! Many clients find it beneficial to use our IV hydration services prior to a night out and to help prevent and fight cold/flu symptoms.
